Charlottesville Car Attack, The Astrological Reflection

A quick one on the violence in Charlottesville, Virginia on Saturday August 12th 2017. The violence between the marchers and protesters peaked at 1:42 PM local time when a car was driven into a crowd of the protesters, killing one woman and injuring 19 other people.
At 1:42 PM in Charlottesville, the zodiacal degree rising over the eastern horizon was 17Scorpio05; Scorpio is the zodiac Sign most closely associated with death. Pluto is the planet that rules the Sign of Scorpio, so Pluto is the ruler of this Horoscope, Pluto was at 17Capricorn21 in an almost exact 60deg.aspect with the rising degree. The 60deg.aspect known as a sextile, is an aspect of harmony and flow, Pluto sextile the Scorpio Ascending degree, Pluto and Scorpio are both closely associated with death in astrological theory.

Pluto also happens to be in a close 90deg.aspect to the mid-point of Mars and Saturn at 18Libra07; in traditional astrology Mars and Saturn were known as the “Malefics” of the zodiac and for this reason the mid-point of the two is closely associated with death. Ebertin, the founder of mid-point astrology describes the possible effects of this aspect pattern as, “Brutality, the rage and fury of destruction. The intervening of a Higher Power, bodily injury or harm (murder, the death of a great many people)”. In an interesting coincidence, (considering Trump’s initial somewhat supportive response to the violence), we find that on the day Donald Trump was born, Pluto was also in an exact 90deg.aspect to the Mars/Saturn mid-point. In other words this planetary pattern is part of his astrological make up. Interesting also that the Mayor of Charlottesville directly attributed blame for the violence on Donald Trump.

The Moon at the moment of the car attack was at 20Aries20, Aries is the Sign named after Ares, the mythic Greek God of War, Aries is the sign that rules War and violence. The Sun at 20Leo12 was in an exact 120deg.aspect with the Moon, the 120deg.aspect known as a trine, is also an aspect of harmony and flow. Leo is the sign that rules Royalty and the Ruling Class, those destined to rule the masses and would be the Sign most closely associated with people who see themselves as “white supremacists”. Leo is directly opposite the Sign Aquarius, the Sign most closely aligned with the equality of all human beings. So we see at the moment of this attack, the powerful Sun in Leo (the Sun rules Leo), in an exact and supportive trine to the Moon in Aries (ruling violence).

The Moon at 20Aries20 was in close conjunction with Chiron at 20Aries08 in the American Horoscope. Chiron is named after the mythic Greek God known as the “wounded healer”; in astrological theory Chiron represents wounds that are difficult, if not impossible to heal. Chiron is therefore the point in all horoscopes of greatest vulnerability. It is clear from the response to Saturday’s violence that it wasn’t just the locals who were “wounded”, but the Nation as a whole has suffered the trauma of the events.

The ancient Greek Astrologers believed every horoscope contained an “Anareta”, which translates to “the Taker of Life”; they said that any planet that fell in the 8th House of the horoscope (which rules Death), would be the “Anareta” of the horoscope. In the car attack horoscope, Venus at 14Cancer06, was the “Taker of Life”, Venus was in close aspect to Mars, Uranus, Chiron and Neptune, meaning that a lot of planetary energy was focused on Venus at the time of the attack. Venus, the Taker of Life at that point in time was conjunct the Sun at 13Cancer19 in America’s Horoscope; again reflecting how the event affected not just Charlottesville but deeply impacted the American psyche represented by the Sun in the US Horoscope, drawn at the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776.

Also in relation to the Sun in America’s Chart is next week’s “Great American Eclipse”, which occurs when the Sun and Moon move into conjunction at 28Leo53, which is in a close 45deg.aspect to the US Sun and directly opposed to the Moon in America’s Chart at 27Aquarius10. The Eclipse will be under close aspect from Chiron, Uranus and Neptune while Mars, Saturn and Jupiter are all in close aspects to America’s Mars and Chiron. The Anareta at that time will again be Venus at 24Cancer45, which will be conjunct America’s Mercury at 24Cancer12.

I believe that America and South Korea are playing War Games on the Korean Peninsula again on the 21st and 22nd of August, this could really be the Great American Eclipse!!

Minneapolis Police Shooting, The Astrological Reflection

An Australian woman, Justine Damond, was shot and killed by a Minneapolis police officer just after 11.30pm on Saturday July 15th 2017. The shooting has attracted major press attention, partly because of the tragic nature of the event, where Justine called 911 to report what she perceived as a woman being assaulted, and ended up being killed by an officer who came to investigate. The Astrological chart drawn for the above time and date in Minneapolis, appears to capture the elements of this tragic event, quite accurately.

Justine called 911 at 11.28 pm, there is no actual time given for the moment of the shooting, but given that it was the call that gave birth to the event, I used this as the astrological moment. At this time the degree rising over the eastern horizon in Minneapolis was at 26Pisces03, at 11.36 pm the rising degree was crossing 00Aries00. The Pisces Ascendant (rising degree) means that this horoscope is ruled by the the planet Neptune (which rules Pisces). Neptune is named after the Roman version of the mythic Greek God, Poseidon, the God who ruled the Oceans. Neptune rules water, water is undefined, existing as a solid , liquid or a gas. Water reflects its surroundings, water can even appear when it isn’t there as it does in the distant mirage. It is for these reasons that Astrological theory describes Neptune as the planet of illusion, dreams, imagination, fantasy and hallucination.

So just knowing that Neptune rules the moment of this event, we see the core elements of the event. First up, Justine hears a woman screaming in the alley behind her house, is she just having sex or being assaulted? She doesn’t really know, she imagines the latter and from this undefined space she calls 911. Second up, when the police arrive, they here a loud bang, see Justine approaching their car, imagine she is the cause of the bang and shoot her in reaction to what is a combination of illusion, imagination and possibly hallucination. So in a simplistic way one could say that Justine died because Pisces was rising at that time. Yes, but Pisces is rising for around 2 hours everyday of the year and an event like this does not happen everyday when Pisces is rising.

So what else is there in this horoscope that pertains to Justine’s death? At 11.34 pm the rising degree was at 28Pisces56, just passed an exact conjunction with the asteroid Chiron at 28Pisces46. Chiron is named after the mythic Greek God known as the wounded-healer and in astrological theory Chiron rules anything to do with unhealable wounds. Because the rising degree is the fastest moving element in Astrology it acts as a spotlight on the actual bodies in the solar system, Sun, Moon, planets and asteroids. So when the rising degree is conjunct Chiron, Chironic issues will be paramount in that particular horoscope. In this case the wound inflicted on Justine was both unhealable and the core issue of the event.

I have now covered Neptune and Chiron and both are in Pisces and in a close 15degree aspect with each other, this aspect is known as an aspect of “crisis” in astrology. The fact that these two bodies are in aspect means they are connected or in relationship, and thus we have Neptunian illusions leading to the crisis of a fatal wounding. Neptune was at 14Pisces02. From Chiron I can see a connection to Mars at 27Cancer12, via a 120deg.aspect. This aspect known as a trine, is an aspect of harmony and support, energy flows freely through this aspect. In astrology, Mars, named after the mythic Roman God of War, rules action, weapons, soldiers, police, confrontation and conflict. Mars is also said to be debilitated in the sign of Cancer, meaning that the energy of Mars is impeded when in the sign of Cancer. So this aspect between Mars and Chiron could describe, “a debilitated policeman using his weapon instinctively (the trine aspect) to inflict an unhealable wound”.

Chiron is also in a 75deg.aspect to Venus at 12Gemini25, and Mars is in a close 45deg.aspect to Venus, an aspect known as a semi-square an aspect of tension and discord. Venus rules the female sex, which is enough in this instance because the wound was inflicted on a woman via the discordant, debilitated Mars in Cancer.

Chiron was also in a 180degree opposition aspect to the Arabic Anareta, the Anareta is a term used by the ancient Greek Astrologers that translates into the “Taker of Life”; it is a point that resides in all horoscopes. The Arabic and Greek Anaretas were calculated differently, the Arabic was calculated using the rising degree so it moves quite swiftly, in this chart it was at 26Virgo51 and in the following 10 minutes moved through the exact opposition to Chiron to 00Libra46. So the Taker of Life was closely connected to Chiron and Mars (via a flowing sextile aspect) and seemed to insure the fatality of the wound.

Perhaps the most telling element of this story is the final one. The Greek Anareta was always the Sun, Moon or a planet, and in this case was Pluto, named after the Roman version of the Greek God Hades, ruler of the Underworld, the place to where the Dead were taken. Pluto at 17Capricorn59 was in a 90degree square aspect to the Moon at 16Aries00, the square is the most difficult and conflicted aspect. The Moon rules our instinctive emotional security and there is a cliche used in astrology to describe the Moon when it is in the Sign of Aries, and sadly that cliche is, “shoot first and ask questions later”.

Trump’s Withdrawal from Paris Agreement – The Astrological Reflection

Just a quick one on this. If you have been following my Trump posts, you may remember the Chiron/Mars theme that ushered him into the Presidency on November 8th 2016, when Chiron in the sky was in a 90deg.aspect with Mars in the horoscope of the USA. The Chiron/Mars theme turned up again when Trump fired Comey, the Director of the FBI, the two of them share reciprocal Chiron to Mars aspects between their two horoscopes and on the day he was fired, Chiron was in close aspect to Mars in the sky.
This brings us to the timing of his announcement to withdraw from the Paris Climate Agreement, on June 1st 2017; the horoscope for 2PM in Washington DC has Chiron at 28Pisces29 in a close 90deg.aspect to Mars at 28Gemini03. Both Chiron and Mars are in close aspects to the Sun at 13Cancer19 in the USA horoscope as is Jupiter at 13Libra19 and Ceres (the Earth mother) at 13Gemini43.

So the Chironic wounds to America continue apace, with Trump as the common denominator. On July 4th 1776, the day America’s Constitution came into effect, Saturn, the planet that rules the highest authority (The Presidency) in that Constitution was at 14Libra48; when Donald Trump was born, 170 years later on June 14 1946, Chiron was at 14Libra55. It is clear that Trump is a “wounded” President, but the real question is, to what extent will he wound the Office of the President, the Constitution, the American people and Planet Earth?
I guess if the American Empire has to have its inevitable downfall, it also has to have a Nero to preside over the burning.

Manchester Bombing, The Astrological Reflection

I have written posts on quite a few of these terror related events so will try to keep this one simple. On Monday May 22nd at 10:30 PM in Manchester (UK), a suicide bomber detonated himself in a crowded arena, killing 22 people and injuring 59 others.

The degree rising over the eastern horizon in Manchester at that time was 17Sagittarius22, making the ruler of this horoscope the planet Jupiter. Jupiter was located at 13Libra41 and was in a close 165deg.aspect with the asteroid Chiron at 28Pisces12. The 165deg.aspect is known in astrology as a Quindecile, an aspect of “crisis”. Chiron is associated with deep and unhealable wounds. Jupiter known as the planet of good fortune is also known as the planet of expansion, so in this case we are looking at expansion of wounds and perhaps the good fortune that the event didn’t result in a great many more casualties.

Jupiter was also in an exact 45deg.aspect with the North Node of the Moon at 28Leo35, Ebertin describes the sociological correspondence of the North Node as, “Meetings, alliances, societies, blood-ties, kindred and related people”. It’s not too difficult to put a musical concert into that context. So in just those three pieces of astrological information the scene in Manchester on Monday evening is described quite accurately. However in these sort of events astrology will always say so much more.

The old Greek astrologers believed that every horoscope contains an “Anareta”, which translates to a “taker of life”; in this horoscope, the Greek Anareta was the ruler of the 8th House (that rules Death), which was the Moon at 20Aries49, Aries being the sign that rules aggression and conflict. The Moon was the ruler of the 8th House because, the cusp of the 8th was in Cancer and the Moon rules Cancer. The 8th House cusp was at 28Cancer41, which is also in an exact 75 deg.aspect with chart ruler Jupiter. The Moon, the taker of life in this chart was in a 60deg.aspect (sextile known as a supportive aspect) with Mars at 21Gemini27, Mars is named after the Roman God of War and is the ruler of Aries. At this moment in time the Moon and Mars were in complete alignment with each other; aligned in the task of taking lives violently.

The old Persian astrologers also had an Anareta in their horoscopes, which they calculated mathematically; in this chart it falls at 24Gemini30, 3degrees from Mars. They also had numerous Parts which were also calculated mathematically and one of these was the Part of Death and Disaster, this Part is found at 25Pisces13, in a close 90deg.aspect to their Anareta. A more modern version of the Anareta is the mid-point of Mars and Saturn, which were known to astrologers of the middle-ages as the great “malefics” of the Zodiac. This mid-point falls at 23Pisces28. Here we have 3 astrological indicators of Death all within 2 degrees of each other in a horoscope that reflected a mass murder.

Now for the final piece of this astrological reflection; the Persian astrologers also had a Part of Suicide, which could be calculated for every horoscope. In this fateful chart, the Part of Suicide was at 28Libra28, which is tied in exact aspects to chart ruler Jupiter, the wounding Chiron, the cusp of the 8th House of Death and the North Node, reflecting the gathering of people in the Manchester Arena. I’ll finish with a telling passage from Shakespeare’s Henry V1, which was written in a time before Astrology was buried by the overwhelming self-importance of man who wanted to believe that he was immune to the whims of “those bad revolting stars”.

The Astrological Reflection of Trump Firing James Comey

My apologies for the sparsity of my posts, but Pluto’s transit to Mercury in my chart has passed and with it my resolve to continue informing people of the profound relationship the planets have with the events in our daily lives. However, Donald Trump’s firing of FBI Director James Comey during the week inspired me to pass on another example of that profound relationship.

Donald Trump fired Comey on May 10th 2017, which will become another day etched into American History; and as with numerous other major historical days, the planets were there to reflect the consequences of such moments.

The astrological story of this event is another chapter in the pattern that emerged on November 8th 2016 when Trump was placed in the Presidential Office of the USA. If you read my post on Trump and the US Horoscope, you may remember that Chiron on that day was in a close 90degree aspect to Mars in the US Horoscope and that Donald Trump was born on a day when the Sun was within a degree and a half of the US Mars. In other words, Chiron and Mars were the main astrological players on the day that Trump was handed the Presidency. It is also interesting from the perspective that Comey was partly responsible for Trump’s election, through his public declaration that he was re-opening the investigation into Hillary Clinton just days before the election. Interesting because on the day he was born, Mars in the sky was a degree away from the US Sun and in an exact 90deg.aspect to Saturn in the US Horoscope. On the day of the election, Mars in the sky was in an exact 165deg.aspect to Mars in Comey’s horoscope. Another interesting point that I see in the course of writing this post is the conjunction of Comey’s Chiron with the US Moon; the Moon being a symbol of the Mother and women in general. In reference to his play in the election we can see his Chiron wounding the feminine principle in the US, by helping (whether consciously or unconsciously) deny the country its first Female President.

On the 10th of May, Chiron in the sky was at 27Pisces45 in a close 75deg.aspect to Mars in the sky at 13Gemini11. Saturn in difficult aspect to both at 26Sagittarius52. In very broad astrological terms, Mars (named after the mythic Roman god of War) rules aggressive action and Chiron (named after the mythic Greek god, known as the “wounded healer”) rules deep and difficult to heal wounds. So when these two planets are in aspect with each other, we can expect aggressive action that involves deep wounding. It is clearly visible after Trump’s first months as President, that he is inflicting harsh wounds on the USA, reflected in his poor polling by the American people.

It seems quite obvious that his firing of James Comey is one of the most aggressive wounds he has inflicted on the American psyche so far. I have already mentioned Mars in Comey’s horoscope, which is at 14Cancer39; just happens to be in an exact 90deg.aspect to Chiron at 14Libra55 in Trump’s horoscope. Chiron at 28Aquarius07 in Comey’s horoscope just happens to be in a 180deg.aspect to Mars at 26Leo47 in Trump’s chart and is also in a similar aspect to the Rising degree at 29Leo58 in Trump’s horoscope. From this it is clear that these two men would have the potential to seriously hurt one another and from the transits it is clear that May the 10th was the day for that potential to erupt into reality.

Jupiter in the sky at 14Libra32 is in a 0deg.aspect to Trump’s Chiron at 14Libra55 and 45deg.aspect to the Mars/Rising degree at 28Leo18;

a 0deg.aspect to the USA Saturn at 14Cancer32.

Saturn in the sky at 26Sagit52 is in a 120deg.aspect to Trump’s Mars at 26Leo47;

a 60deg.aspect to the USA Moon at 27Aquarius10

Also interesting, the North Node of the Moon, which moves through the zodiac backwards has just entered Leo, the sign that rules Kings and Queens. On May 10th it was at 29Leo48 in exact conjunction to Trump’s Rising degree at 29Leo58 and in an exact 45deg.aspect to his Chiron at 14Libra55; and at the same time in 45deg.aspects to Comey’s Mars and the US Saturn. So putting all of that together, we had the King of America, aggressively beheading the FBI, the leading Law protecting authority (ruled by Saturn) in his country. The North Node will remain in Leo until November 2018, one has to wonder how many more Heads will role by the hands of this “Wounded King”.

The Astrological Reflection of a Rare AFL Injury

I love Australian Rules Football and the pre-season competition began this weekend and the low light of the weekend’s games was an extremely rare dislocated hip, suffered by Sam Day who plays for the Gold Coast Suns. The accident occurred around 4 PM on Sunday the 19th of February on the Gold Coast.

Sam was born on the 6th of September 1992. When looking at injury charts the first thing I check are the current transits from the asteroid Chiron, named after the Mythic Greek Centaur God, Chiron, who was known as the “wounded healer”. The mythic story tells us that Chiron was skilled in the healing arts and treated many wounded and sick people who came to him. On one of those occasions Hercules came for treatment and in the process Chiron was accidentally wounded in the thigh by one of Hercules’ arrows that had been used to kill the many headed beast Hydra. The poison on the arrow insured the wound would never heal. When Chiron in the sky transits particular planets in our natal horoscopes, it is not uncommon for injuries to occur in our lives. Sam Day’s injury is no exception.

On Sunday afternoon Chiron was at 23Pisces18 in a close 180deg.aspect to Jupiter in Sam’s horoscope at 23Virgo35. Jupiter is the planet that rules the sign of Sagittarius and in astrological theory Sagittarius is given rulership over the Hips and thighs of the human body. Reinhold Ebertin the German astrologer who studied medical astrology in great depth, ascertained that each of the 360 degrees of the Zodiac had rulership over a particular part of the Human Anatomy. The 23rd degree of Sagittarius happens to rule the Left Trochanter, which happens to be part of the bone structure at the head of the Femur, literally a part of the bone that is removed from the hip-joint in the event of a dislocation.

Sam’s injury was to the left hip, Jupiter was in an exact 90deg.aspect to the 23rd degree of Sagittarius that rules part of the joint, Chiron in the sky was in a close 180deg.aspect to his Jupiter and a 90deg.aspect to the 23rd degree of Sagittarius when his injury occurred.

The second thing I look at in injury charts are the current transits of Mars to the natal horoscope. Mars was named after the mythic Roman God of War, and in astrology is closely associated with battle, fighting, competition, especially those involving physical contact. For this reason alone, transits of Mars are often present when injuries occur. On Sunday afternoon Mars was at 16Aries19, the sign Aries is ruled by Mars, so Mars is very strong when passing through its own sign. On the day Sam was born, the planet Neptune was at 16Capricorn18 and the asteroid Chiron was at 17Leo12, so Mars in the sky was in close aspect to both of these bodies in Sam’s horoscope. At the same time Neptune in the sky at 11Pisces18 was in a close 105deg.aspect to Mars in Sam’s horoscope. This means that Mars and Neptune were in a reciprocal transit dynamic to Sam’s chart on Sunday. I have found that these reciprocal patterns are very common when injuries occur.
When Mars and Neptune are in aspect with each other, there is a tendency for the fiery energy of Mars to be drowned or dissolved in the oceanic waters that Neptune rules. The early prognosis for Sam is that he wont be competing on the field again in 2017, Neptune has certainly dissolved his “Mars” energy for the coming months. Also on Sunday afternoon the planet Saturn in the sky was at 26Sagittarius06 in a close 180deg.aspect to Mars at 26Gemini25 in Sam’s horoscope. Transits from Saturn often coincide with obstructions, frustrations and contractions in our lives; Sam has certainly just encountered some of that. Also the 26th degree of Sagittarius rules the actual ball of the left hip joint (called the Condyle).

So on the day Sam was born, the planets Mars and Jupiter were both in difficult aspects to the degrees that rule integral parts of the left hip joint and then 24 years later when both Saturn and Chiron come into close transit with these degrees on the same day and his hip is dislocated, in a very rare occurrence on an AFL field of play. Difficult not to see that this injury was written in the stars. I wish Sam a speedy recovery and all the best for the future.

Trump’s Advisor, Steve Bannon and America’s Chironic Wound

I have just read an article written about Trump’s closest advisor, Steve Bannon. It is called, “Steve Bannon has a grand vision for remaking America”, by Gwynn Guildford. It’s an informative and scary piece of writing especially the latter parts where his vision includes taking the US back into major military conflict.
Bannon was born on November 27th 1953 and his Natal Horoscope does not bode well for the people of America. I will begin by listing some mid-point dynamics in his chart with Ebertin’s concise descriptions.

The Sun is in close aspect to the Mars/Uranus mid-point. The sociological correspondence to Mars/Uranus is, “Violent people, fighters for freedom, revolutionaries”; the Sun represents the values in life we are identified with.
The psychological correspondence of Mars/Uranus is, “The urge for freedom and independence, the trait neither to be subdued nor to yield to other people’s will, quick determination and courage.
An argumentative disposition, also the inclination to contradict others, self-will and self-willed obstinacy, a lack of balance, intolerance, strong emotional tensions, strains or stresses, a person imbued with a fighting spirit, violence”.

Mars is conjunct the Sun/Pluto mid-point. The sociological correspondence is, “Pioneers, fighters, persons accustomed to rule others (martyrs of their own ideas)”. The Sun/Pluto principle is, “The striving for power, the craving for rulership, the power of attainment”.
Psychological correspondence is, “Striving for power by means of physical strength or mental energy, creative power, consciousness of aim or objective, the qualities of leadership. Fanatical aspirations or tendencies, over-estimation of self, arrogance”.

The principle of the planet Mars is, “Energy”. The sociological correspondence is, “Fighters, bearers of arms, athletes, mechanics, technicians, craftsmen and surgeons”.
The psychological correspondence is, “Will-power, active energy, courage, determination, enjoyment of work and fighting, the urge to do something. Enjoyment of destruction, impulsiveness, ruthlessness, brutality”.

Jupiter is in a close aspect to the Uranus/Pluto mid-point. The principle of the Uranus/Pluto mid-point is, “The process of transformation. The collapse of the old order of things, the construction of the new. Revolution.
The psychological correspondence is, “Restlessness, activity, the fight for the establishment of innovations and reforms, a strong awareness of purpose and objective. Impatience, fanaticism, one-sidedness, violence, precipitate action, the mania of destruction.”

Saturn is in aspect to the Mars/Pluto mid-point. The Mars/Pluto principle is, “Superhuman power (force, brutality)”. The psychological correspondence is, ” The ability to demonstrate extraordinary force and vigour, great self-confidence, great ambition. The attainment of one’s objectives by means of ruthlessness to others, brutality and cruelty”.

Saturn is also conjunct the Pluto/Chiron mid-point. Ebertin’s work was done before Chiron was discovered and named. His principle for Pluto is, “Force majeure or providence, invisible forces or powers”. The general astrological principle for Chiron is, “Wounding and Healing”, where the wounding always comes first and the Chironic Wound is inherently an unhealable or chronic wound”.So in simple terms, the principle of Pluto/Chiron is the power to wound (and the attempt to heal).

Uranus is conjunct the Jupiter/Pluto mid-point. The Jupiter/Pluto principle is, “The desire for power (plutocracy)”. The psychological correspondence is, “The striving for the development of power either in the purely spiritual and mental spheres or in the material sphere, the desire to rule the masses, an appreciation of the need for social or religious regeneration. the pursuit of fanatical aims, the desire to exploit the masses, wastefulness”. Probable manifestations of this principle in an individuals horoscope are, “The leading of or the participation in uprisings, the attainment of leadership. Loss of social standing and of one’s wealth, conflicts with the authorities and the executors of governmental power (arrest). The misfortune to lose everything”.
Neptune is also in a 90deg.aspect to the Jupiter/Pluto mid-point, which carries this description, “The inclination to deceive others, also to cheat and seduce people”.
The North Node is also in a 180deg.aspect to the Jupiter/Pluto mid-point, which carries the description, “Joint aspiration, a relationship to the masses, political activity. A joint or shared success, far-reaching associations”.

That last sentence pretty much describes his relationship with Donald Trump and astrologically there are some strong associations with Trump’s connections to the US Horoscope. As follows –
The US Mars is at 21Gemini23, Trumps Sun is at 22Gemini56, Bannon’s Jupiter is at 23Gemini31. I wrote in my post about Trump’s connection to the US horoscope, that the US Mars is closely aspected by Chiron at 20Aries08. This means that the Mars principle in the US Chart is a wounded one, and Mars rules all things male, thus the male principle in the US chart is wounded. And what does the man with a wound to his masculinity tend to do? One of his options is to over compensate, to go out of his way to prove to the world that he is not wounded, that in fact he is stronger than other men. Remember that it was the disenfranchised (wounded) white men of the mid-west who Trump was able to enlist en-mass to vote for him. This was clearly supported and inflated by the presence of Bannon’s Jupiter sitting on his Sun. Now what is really fascinating here is that Bannon was born when Chiron was in a 90deg.aspect with Mars in the sign of Libra. Libra is one of the two signs (Cancer the other) where Mars is at its weakest, so he was born not just with a weakened Mars but a wounded one as well. Trump was also born as Mars was approaching a 45deg.aspect to Chiron, so his Mars is also a wounded one, remembering here the relevance of his “small hands”. Chiron in Trump’s chart is at 14Libra55, which happens to be conjunct Bannon’s Mars at 16Libra08. Bannon’s Mars is exactly conjunct Trump’s Jupiter/Chiron mid-point at 16Libra11. This Jupiter/Chiron repesents Trump’s “Messiah Complex”, that describes his belief that he can “save” others (and make America great again), unfortunately Adolf Hitler carried the same complex in his natal Horoscope.
The point here is that Bannon’s Mars/Chiron wound is so closely connected to Trump’s Jupiter/Chiron complex and both dynamics are closely associated with America’s Chiron at 20Aries08.

As I am writing this, Pluto has moved to 18Capricorn07, exactly conjunct Chiron in Bannon’s natal chart. In astrological theory, strong transits from Pluto to Chiron, describe a year long period in our lives when the wound represented by Chiron, becomes very prominent in our psyche. Because Pluto moves so slowly, we usually only have two such major transits in a normal life time. During these transits we are usually given three options; the first is to face the wound head on and get therapeutic help, the second is to try and ignore the incursions of the wound into our psyche and the third is to project the wound out onto the world around us. So right now as Steve Bannon has just become the main advisor to the President of the United States, he is undergoing a major Pluto/Chiron transit, that is focused on his “wounded maleness”, is he really going to get help from his therapist? On January 18th, 3 days before he was sworn in as the new President, Pluto was at 17Capricorn27 in an exact 90deg.aspect to Jupiter in Trump’s natal chart. So both of these men who hold the reins of the USA in their hands, are under the influence of Pluto on their most vulnerable wounds. Pluto is named after the Roman version of the mythic Greek God Hades, the ruler of the Underworld to where the dead were taken. In astrology Pluto rules the sign of Scorpio and the 8th House, which hold rulership over Death.

In early February 2018, Pluto moves into an exact 90deg.aspect with Chiron in the US Horoscope and presumably these two wounded characters will still hold the reins of power in Washington. The previous beginning of a major transit from Pluto to the US Chiron was on November 4th 1979 as the Iran Hostage Crisis was beginning. Prior to that in August 1930, the country was suffering the deep wounds of the Great Depression; when it began with the Wall St.Crash in October 1929, Pluto at 19Cancer37 was only half a degree from an exact 90 deg.aspect with the US Chiron. In between, on December 7th 1941 when the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbour, Pluto was at 05Leo35 in a close 105deg.aspect with the US Chiron.
When the Korean War began, Uranus at 05Cancer04 was in exact 75deg.aspect to the US Chiron. When the Gulf War began, Saturn at 20Capricorn40 was in a 90deg.aspect to the US Chiron as was Chiron at 21Cancer09. When George Bush invaded Iraq on March 20th 2003, Pluto at 19Sagittarius57 was in an exact 120deg.aspect with the US Chiron. On 9/11 2001, both Uranus and Neptune were both within 2 degrees of aspect with the US Chiron. It certainly appears that the US Chiron is very sensitive to outer planet transits, especially Pluto, but on February 4th 2018, not only Pluto but Mars and Saturn will also be in close aspect with the US Chiron. Hopefully before then, Trump will be impeached and removed from office and along with him, the dangerous Steve Bannon.

Berlin Truck Attack – The Astrological Reflection

In Berlin on Monday the 19th of December 2016 at 8.05 PM, a high-jacked truck was driven into a crowded Christmas market, killing 12 people and injuring many others. There were a number of different times quoted in reports, I used the 8.05 time as it appeared to be the most official.

At 8.05 PM in Berlin, the degree rising over the eastern horizon was 17Leo20, the sign of Leo is ruled by the Sun, which becomes the ruling planet in the Horoscope drawn for the moment of the attack. The Sun at 28Sagittarius19 was in an exact 180deg.aspect to the Uranus/Node mid-point at 28Gemini16; Ebertin describes the principle of this mid-point as, “experiences in life shared with others”, and the probable negative manifestations of transits to this point as, “sudden incidents in communal life, the experience of upsets together with other people”. And more specifically, when it is the Sun transiting, “Inclination to violence, even at the slightest cause, becoming upset and excited along with others”. It appears that this aspect alone describes the scene that occurred at this moment. The astrological chart, however tends to reflect like a holograph, where each part reflects the whole picture.

I have written about the “Anareta” in a lot of the posts on the moment of death; the “Anareta” is a Greek word meaning the “taker of life”, and the ancient Greek astrologers said that every horoscope has as an “Anareta”. They said it was deemed to be any planet that fell in the 8th House, which rules death, or if there were no planets in the 8th, then the planet ruling the 8th would be the “Anareta” of the chart. In this case, Neptune at 09Pisces30 is both in the 8th and ruling the 8th, making it a powerful “taker of life”. Neptune is in a 45deg.aspect to the Mars/Saturn mid-point at 25Capricorn08, known as a more modern death indicator, by virtue of Mars and Saturn’s reputation as being the “malefics” of the solar system in traditional astrology.
Neptune is also conjunct two warrior mid-points, the Pallas/Chiron at 09Pisces21 and Mars/Chiron at 10Pisces30. Chiron is the asteroid that reflects the “wounding” principle, Pallas is the asteroid named after the Greek Warrior Goddess, Pallas Athene, Mars was the Roman God of War.

The old Persian astrologers also used an “Anareta”, which they calculated mathematically as a point in the chart; in this horoscope their “Anareta” falls at 02Taurus36, which is in a close 105deg.aspect with the rising degree at 17Leo20. Their “Anareta”, is a much more fluid point, in that it changes position with every new degree rising over the eastern horizon, which is every 4 minutes of the day. Whereas the Greek “Anareta” can remain in place from 30-120 minutes depending on the current size of the 8th House, which varies throughout the day. So the fact that this “Anareta” is in close aspect to this rising degree, is literally describing that life will be taken at this point in time.

The Persian astrologers also calculated many other points in the chart, which they called “Parts”; one of these was the Part of Death and Disaster, in this chart it falls at 08Aquarius50, which is sandwiched between the Mars/Pluto mid-point at 08Aquarius25 and the Sun/Chiron mid-point at 09Aquarius34. Ebertin describes the Mars/Pluto principle as, “Superhuman power (force, brutality)”. The probable negative manifestation as, “The tendency to proceed in a brutal manner, the misfortune of having to suffer violent assaults, injuries”. The Sun/Chiron in this case connecting the ruler of the chart (the Sun) with the “wounding” principle (Chiron) and Death by virtue of the conjunction with the Part of Death.

There was another unusual astronomical phenomenon happening on the 19th of December, and that was 3 of the major planets, Jupiter, Saturn and Uranus plus the asteroid Chiron, all close to 20 degrees of various signs. Jupiter 19Libra41, Saturn 19Sagittarius57, Uranus 20Aries36 and Chiron 20Pisces50, so all 4 within 1degree10minutes of each other. At 8.05 PM they were all in challenging aspect to the Sun/Moon mid-point at 05Scorpio57. The Sun/Moon energies representing the male/female polarity, the yin-yang polarity, the aggressive/receptive polarity. The above aspects seriously challenging the balance of the two at this moment in time; the Sun was also in a difficult 105 deg.aspect to the Moon at 13Virgo35, and a challenging 45deg.aspect to Venus (the other major symbol of the Feminine) at 13Aquarius57.

There are more succinct and relevant points I could elaborate on, but I think that is enough to convey the accuracy of the Astrological reflection of what happened in Berlin at this moment in time. I was fortunate enough to find the birthdate of Anis Amri, the man accused of carrying out the attack; I will now look at how the planets etc. were influencing the horoscope for the day he was born, December 27 1992 at 12PM (I do not have his time of birth).

At Midday on December the 20th 1992 in Tunisia, the Sun was at 05Capricorn57, so it is known that the Sun in Amri’s horoscope is somewhere between 05Cap30 and 06Cap30, this position of the Sun represents Amri’s identity, his belief in who he was as a human. This means that Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Chiron were all in challenging, transiting aspects to his Sun, reflecting the intense pressure he was under at this time. Both Mercury and Venus were close to 20 degrees on the day he was born, Mercury representing his mind and the way he perceives the world at 20Sagittarius45, Venus representing his values, his heart and creativity at 21Aquarius35. So both of these personal planets were also being challenged by this planetary confluence at 20 degrees; especially strong, would have been Saturn in conjunction with his Mercury, one of the most difficult transits to have to Mercury, because of the negative mind set that Saturn reflects. If one has any paranoid tendencies these will come to the fore under a Saturn to Mercury conjunction. At the same time Chiron is in a very difficult 90 degree aspect to his Mercury, reminding him of his own Chironic wounds and his reactive desire to wound others.

On the day he was born, Chiron was at 23Leo11, in a 180deg.aspect to Venus, a 30deg.aspect to Mars a 120deg.aspect to Mercury and a 90 degree aspect to Pluto, strong Pluto/Chiron aspects usually represent deep and intractable wounds to the psyche, that are experienced very intensely. To have Chiron in close aspect to 3 of the personal planets and Pluto is not common and certainly reflects a person who is carrying deep and troubling wounds. Chiron in the sky began a yearlong transit to Chiron in Amri’s natal chart in May this year, and generally Chiron to Chiron transits usually reflect a period where we are confronted with our Chironic (unhealed) wounds; it is quite possible that Amri’s actions over the past 6 months of this transit, that ultimately led to his actions on Monday evening, were in response to this ongoing confrontation with his past wounds.

Amri was killed on Friday morning at 3.00 AM in a confrontation with 2 police in Milan. The 20 degree planets were all still very active in his chart when he died, but perhaps the most telling transit at the moment of his death was the Moon in a 60deg.aspect to his natal Chiron, as it finally released him from his wounds.berlin-truck-attack

Donald Trump and America’s Horoscope

In my two previous posts about Donald I have focused on his horoscope and relevant planetary transits to it; since his election victory I have now had a look at how his chart relates to America’s Horoscope. From the Astrological perspective it is an interesting story. America’s Horoscope is drawn for the time of the signing of the Declaration of Independence on July 4th 1776. There is no record of the actual time the Document was signed, but it has been ascertained by Astro.com that 5:10 PM is the most widely recognised time, so this was the time I used to bring up the chart.

At this time in Philadelphia on July 4th 1776 the degree rising over the Eastern horizon was 12Sagittarius21, Jupiter is the ruling Planet of Sagittarius and is therefore the ruling Planet of this Horoscope. Jupiter at this time was at 05Cancer56 and was the closest Planet to the Sun at 13Cancer19. In Astrological theory Jupiter is said to be “exalted” in the sign of Cancer, which means it is at its strongest in this Sign. Jupiter is also conjunct Venus at 03Cancer06; in traditional Astrology both Venus and Jupiter were known as the “Benefics” of the Solar System, so an exalted, (Ruling) Jupiter conjunct Venus is about as ‘Benefic’ as it can get for any Horoscope and it is hard to deny, knowing that America has become the richest and most powerful country on the Planet, in the short period since the Signing of their Declaration of Independence. Adding to the strength of this Jupiter/Venus conjunction is the fact that they were also at the same degree of Declination above the horizon, so close that 3 days later Venus would have been very close to eclipsing Jupiter. Interestingly, both Mars and Uranus were also on the same degree of Declination, so all 4 Planets were in a horizontal line in the same 30 degree slice of the sky. It was certainly an auspicious time to give birth to a new country.

The only impediments to Jupiter, this powerful Ruling Planet of the US Chart, are a 75deg.aspect from Chiron (20Aries08), the asteroid named after the mythic Greek God known as the “wounded healer” and a 15deg.aspect from the “Malefic” Mars (21Gemini23) named after the mythic Roman God of Battle. This is the where Trump’s horoscope plugs into the American Chart; if you have read my previous posts on Donald then you will have read about the Jupiter/Chiron conjunction he was born under. This has been called the “Messiah” complex, where people born with Jupiter/Chiron aspects have a belief that they have been born to ‘save’ others; Hitler had a strong Jupiter/Chiron aspect in his chart, and he believed he could make Germany into a dominant World Power and return the German Nation to its rightful position as the most powerful race on Earth. It is not too much of a stretch to see this dynamic at work in the American national psyche, where the US has indeed saved the free world from defeat in both World Wars and has since gone into Korea, Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan to save their people from tyranny, oppression and communism. America’s messiah complex seems to play out on the “battlefield”, and this is the influence of Mars, where Chiron is in aspect to the Jupiter/Mars, 15deg.aspect, known as an aspect of crisis. Jupiter known as the planet of expansion, in a crisis aspect with Mars, the Roman God of War.

On November 8th, Trump was elected President, under the banner of “Make America Great Again”!! On this day Chiron in the sky at 20Pisces55 was in an exact 105deg.aspect with America’s Ruling Planet, Jupiter at 05Cancer56, a 90deg.aspect with America’s Mars at 21Gemini23 and a 30deg.aspect with America’s Chiron. In a reciprocal dynamic, Jupiter in the sky at 12Libra41, was conjunct Chiron in Trump’s chart at 14Libra55, which is conjunct Saturn at 14Libra48 in America’s chart. Saturn is the planet that represents patriarchal authority, which is written into the Laws and structures that Govern Society. Saturn is in a 90deg.aspect with the Sun in the US Chart. Trump’s Chiron is in a 90deg.aspect with America’s Sun, which represents the Identity of American Society. Trump’s Sun at 22Gemini56 is in a 60 deg.aspect with America’s Chiron and is conjunct America’s Mars. Trump’s North Node at 20Gemini48 is also in the same two aspects. The North Node represents the direction we are inspired to move towards in our lives, if or when we can leave our comfort zones, represented by the South Node. So in Trump’s case he has definitely followed the urgings of his North Node in Gemini, which represents communication, learning new skills and being involved with many everyday people.

So if we look at this from the bigger picture, where it was written in the sky that Chiron would be in aspect to America’s Chiron, Jupiter and Mars on Election day 2016; then it was clear that the Election would reflect the inherent wounds to the American psyche represented by these aspects. So Trump is drawn into the arena (I cover this in my first post on Trump); his Sun is closely connected to America’s Mars/Chiron aspect. Mars represents the masculine principle, Chiron represents wounds. There is an inherent wound to the Male principle in the American psyche. In the current environment this manifested as the disenfranchised men of the Mid-West who have been marginalised by Technology and Globalisation; and now they were faced with the overwhelming prospect that a woman would be their next President, now if your male ego is already feeling wounded, would having a woman in charge make you feel more empowered? Probably not and Trump’s Sun totally keyed into that wounded male psyche and the anger and rage (also Mars) that is symptomatic of such wounds. Trump used his outrageous misogyny to accomplish the distrust of women and in particular Hillary. This is reflected astrologically in Trump’s Mars at 26Leo47 being directly opposite in a 180deg.aspect to America’s Moon at 27Aquarius10, the Moon representing the Feminine principle in this case. His misogyny being directed at women in general. Interesting also that the Arabic Part of the Condition of Females in the American Chart is at 18Aries09, conjunct Chiron. Indicating that the condition of Females in the USA is a wounded one. Trump’s Jupiter at 17Libra27 directly opposes this Part in the US Chart. Indicating how easy it is for him to exacerbate this wound.

His cries to “Drain the Swamp”, meaning the swamp of the Washington political structure, is reflected in Trump’s Chiron conjunct the US Saturn, which reflects those structures that have become encrusted, self-serving and stagnant. Trump was able to elevate this ‘wound’ in America’s political structure, into a major cause of America’s fall from “Greatness”.

His greatest weapon however, belonged to the first phrase of his election chant, which was “Build the Wall”!! His proclamation that the greatest problem America faced was illegal immigrants; be they Mexicans, Muslims or even the legal immigrants of US history, the “lazy” African-Americans. The underlying message being let’s make America ‘white’ again. There are three Arabic Parts relevant to this subject; the first being the Part of Slaves, which sits at 15Cancer20 conjunct the US Sun and in a 90deg. aspect with the US Saturn. The Sun represents the identity of the American Nation, the conjunction with the Part of Slaves, indicates the close association America has with Slavery. The aspect from Saturn describes the challenges and difficulties that this association has caused the American Nation.

The second is the Part of Race and Race Consciousness, which sits at 11Capricorn59, in a 180deg.aspect to both the US Sun and the Part of Slaves, this indicates the association of different Races with Slavery. Slavery in America was eventually abolished, but it was replaced with massive immigration and what do a great percentage of those immigrants do in their new country, at a stretch, the work the Slaves used to do. This has become very defined since the wave of immigrants, both legal and illegal, coming from and through Mexico became such an issue. They are definitely doing the menial work that most wealthier Americans do not want to do. They are in fact paid Slaves.

The third is the Part of Bondage and Slavery, which sits at 24Aries45, in 60 degree aspects to the US Mars and Moon; the 60 deg.aspect is an aspect of harmony and support. However, this Part is also in a wide conjunction with the US Chiron, indicating the deep and intractable wound Slavery has been in the US psyche. Pluto at 27Capricorn33 is in 90deg,aspect with this Part and with Pluto’s strong association with Death and Destruction, one only has to look at the American Civil War and it’s connections to Slavery, to see the relevance of this aspect in the US Horoscope. When the War began on April 12th 1861, the Sun was conjunct this Part, Pluto was in a 15deg.aspect with this Part and Mars was in a 15deg.aspect to the US Mars.

Trump’s Chiron is in 90deg.aspects to the Part of Slavery and the Part of Race and Race Consciousness, his Mars is also in a 135deg.aspect with this Part. His Mars is also in a 120deg.aspect with the Part of Bondage and Slavery; his Mercury, Venus and Saturn are also in close aspect to this Part.

It seems abundantly clear that this election did play out in the Chironic way predicted by the transits to the US Chart, and it is clear that Trump was acting as an agent for Chiron. The fact that he won the election with a big loss in the popular vote, also inflicts and exposes another wound to the majority of Americans who voted for Hillary. It exposes a “wounded” electoral system that can allow this to happen, a system where the votes of a small number of swing states are far more powerful than the votes of the entire country.

It is interesting that the “anachronistic” Electoral College will cast its votes for the President on December 19th 2016 and there will be far more pressure on the delegates to change their votes, than ever before. On December 19th, Uranus in the sky will be at 20Aries36, conjunct the US Chiron at 20Aries08. Chiron will be at 20PIsces50, 30degrees to the US Chiron; Jupiter will be at 19Libra41, 180degrees from the US Chiron and Saturn will be at 19Sagittarius58, 120degrees from the US Chiron. Because this vote writes the new President into Law, it is clear that whatever the result, it will go down as one of the most Chironic (wounding) days in American History.

Donald Trump, the Locker Room and the Chironic Wound

In my previous post about Trump running for President and whether he could win or not, I mentioned that he was born when the asteroid Chiron was within 3 degrees of Jupiter and that Jupiter/Chiron aspects often show up in the horoscopes of people with “Messianic” tendencies. Messianic doesn’t necessarily have to mean religious, in more general terms it refers to anyone who believes that they can save or redeem humanity in some way shape or form. Hitler in his own way was a “Messianic” character who believed he was the saviour of the Germanic Aryan Race, for example; and Hitler was born when Chiron was at 06Cancer50 in a close 180deg.aspect with Jupiter at 08Capricorn15.

The problem that underlies these Messianic tendencies is the fact that they are driven by a deep and unhealable wound that Chiron represents. The asteroid Chiron was named after Chiron the Centaur from Greek Mythology, who was one of the immortal Gods in the Greek Pantheon. He was a Healer who was inflicted with an incurable wound, that he ultimately gave up his immortality for in order to put an end to his pain. Through this he became known as the “wounded Healer”, which has become an archetype in the human psyche, that we all carry in some form or another. Those born under a Jupiter/Chiron aspect tend to project their wound out in rather more grandiose (Jupiterian) fashion than many other mere mortals.

Getting back to Donald Trump and his Chironic Journey, that took a decidedly different course when he through his hat in the Presidential hopefuls ring. As I wrote in the previous post, at the time he did throw that hat, both Saturn and Pluto were in close aspect to the position of Chiron in his birth chart. This indicates that his decision to run was somehow inspired by his deepest and most chronic psychological wound (which Chiron represents in all horoscopes). At the same time Chiron in the sky was at 21Pisces32, within a degree and a half of an exact 90deg.aspect to the Sun at 22Gemini56, in his horoscope. When Donald was born the sign of Leo was rising over the eastern horizon, the Sun rules Leo and is therefore the ruling planet of Donald’s horoscope. People born with Leo rising tend to have an innate need to “shine” on other people.

Donald has been shining on others for most of his life, first through his business world, then through his forays into television and his resulting celebrity status. However when the opportunity came to run for the Presidency, which coincided with the planetary transits to his natal Chiron, he decided that he wanted to shine on a much larger scale, we could even say a “global scale”.

What I haven’t mentioned yet was that when Donald was born Chiron was in an exact 45deg.aspect to the 29th degree of Leo rising over the eastern horizon, so his Leonine need to shine was to be forever bound to his Chironic wound.

Over the course of his campaign it has become very apparent that Donald is a “wounding” character, or in other words, he seems to regularly wound others in the process of trying convince people that he is the person most fit to be the next President. He has been wounding women, Mexicans, Muslims, retarded people and is even wounding the Republican Party he is running for. Since the beginning of 2016, Chiron in the sky has been in close aspect to Donald’s Sun and as time has passed the most glaring question that arises about Donald, is about his fitness to be the President, when his character is so obviously flawed, wounded and wounding or just plain unsuited to play the role.

On Friday the 7th of October the “locker room” video was released that shone such a bright and glaring light on his wounding nature that his Republican compatriots abandoned him as rats do a sinking ship. And on that day the Sun moving from 14 to 15 degrees of Libra shone it’s light right on Donald’s Chiron at 14Libra55. So he not only had Chiron in aspect to his natal Sun, but also the Sun in aspect to his natal Chiron; and his wounding/wounded nature was profoundly exposed on a “global scale”.
